Deze verbouwing toont aan dat je niet altijd een grote bouwoppervlakte nodig hebt om een groots karakter in je woning te bekomen.
Achter de bestaande woning met een grondoppervlakte van 47 m2 wordt een bijbouw van 39 m2 voorzien. De bestaande woning wordt voorzien van een dikke isolatielaag en een gerecupereerde gevelsteen. De ramen worden letterlijk omkaderd om de woning extra cachet te geven. Voor de uitbreiding is er gekozen voor dakrandhoge ramen voor maximale lichtinval en zwart gebeitst hout. Het zwart gebeitst hout zie je terugkomen in de carport met tuinberging en in het interieur. Op deze manier wordt er een coherente sfeer binnen en buiten bekomen.
Binnenin de woning zijn alle leefruimtes opengetrokken waardoor je een volledig zicht doorheen de woning en de tuin krijgt. Dit geeft, samen met de materialen die zowel binnen als buiten worden doorgetrokken een open karakter aan de woning.
